IT Firms have recently been trending on areas of contact-less interaction, robotics, and an increasing usage of new

technologies. For this studio project, the client is requesting a “Google” themed office suite, at 16,000sf. Google is known

for using primary colors as their central color palette, with clean, neutral materials. In drawing inspiration from Google’s

offices, for this specific IT Firm, I will implement a color palette to be similar to bright pops of color, with minimal patters on

the carpet, and or textiles. These pops of colors will be blended harmoniously with neutrals that are solid, to help tone down

the intensity of some color choices, like the oranges and greens, which are synonymous with nature, to help bring natural

usage in the midst of technological advancements. Most of the furniture and carpeting will have the bolder colors, while the

main circulation flooring will be neutral. Lighting designs will feature unique, and or abstract forms, following a futuristic

appeal, similar to what IT and technology stands for today. The overall goal and concept for the IT Office Suite is to be

clean, integral, bold, exciting, and motivating. I believe the color choices, lighting, furniture design, and material selections

will all contribute to an office suite that is productive.
