Hotels have become more than a place to stay when traveling and the hospitality industry is becoming more creative. For this Marriott Hotel, I want to implement modern elements through unique colors of furniture and design. The hotel will be a refined look, that will be comfortable, sustainable, modern, and clean. By implementing colors of blues, yellows, pinks, purple, and using neutral tones to bring it all together, the hotel will have opportune moments of vividness, especially upon entering the bar, restaurant, lobby, banquet, and the hotel rooms. Lighting will also be a critical factor, which is why many types of chandeliers and more artistic features will be used to bring a sense of refinement and creativity to the spaces. I believe by implementing color choices, furniture design, lighting selections, and having opportune moments for natural lighting in the space will create a modern atmosphere and look to this Marriott hotel in California, to where anyone staying in this space, will feel at home with a touch of luxury.
